Building Communities Fund 2026 - Now Open!

The Building Communities Fund 2026 is now open for applications. This fund is designed to support projects and initiatives that make a lasting positive impact across our common bond. With €30,000 available, the fund aims to invest in projects that benefit the wider community, strengthen local areas, and enhance the quality of life for the people who live, work, and participate within them.

This funding stream is intended for larger-scale projects that deliver long-term value or create significant community impact. Applications are encouraged from groups and organisations whose initiatives improve shared spaces, support environmental sustainability, enhance local infrastructure or contribute to the overall development and wellbeing of the community.

Projects may include, but are not limited to:

• Improvements to community infrastructure and public spaces
• Community murals, artwork and beautification projects
• Environmental and sustainability initiatives
• Enhancements to parks, recreational areas and amenities
• Projects that create lasting benefits for residents and community groups
• Initiatives that improve accessibility, inclusion, and community engagement
