Junior Savers Week 2025

Naomh Breandan Credit Union is delighted to celebrate Credit Union Junior Savers Week, taking place from 22nd – 28th September 2025.

This annual initiative is all about promoting positive saving habits and financial education among our young members, aged 5–12 years old. Through fun and engaging activities, Junior Savers Week helps to build financial literacy and instill the importance of saving for the future.

Daily Themes

Each day of the week will celebrate a unique theme designed to encourage and support children in learning about money:

• Money Monday – September 22nd
• Take Home Tuesday – September 23rd
• Wise Spend Wednesday – September 24th
• Thoughtful Thursday – September 25th
• Future Friday – September 26th

These themes provide a simple and fun way to explore key lessons about money, from understanding what it is to making wise spending choices and planning for the future.

Competition for Schools

Teachers, get your classes involved! This year, an iPad is up for grabs for one lucky class.

• Every class that registers will be entered into the draw.
• Schools can have multiple entries — so the more classes that register, the greater the chance of winning!

We are also encouraging the wider community to get involved! A €100 One4All voucher will be awarded to one lucky participant in our daily online quiz.

• Each quiz will go live at 00:01 and close at 23:59 the same day.
• For example, Money Monday’s quiz will be available only on 22nd September.
