The Solar loan is available to members to help fund the installation of Solar panels on their domestic dwelling or in another domestic property they own. In all both cases the member(s) must own the property.
Special conditions to this loan are that the member(s) must submit a quote or invoice from the solar company, they have chosen to fit the Solar panels at the time of the application or prior to drawdown. The funds are to be paid to the Solar company in question via either a credit union cheque made payable to the company or via electronic fund transfer (EFT) once the bank details have been included on the invoice.
The loan can be drawn in two portions, one for the deposit and two the remaining portion of the loan prior to the installation but in both cases payments are made directly to the company installing the Solar panels.
