Struggling with Loan Repayments or Other Debts?
If you are behind on payments, struggling to repay a loan or finding it difficult to keep on top of bills and other debts, please do not ignore the problem.
It can be tempting to put money worries to the back of your mind, but speaking about it early is always better than letting it build up. Your first step is to contact our Credit Control Officer here in Naomh Breandan Credit Union if you find yourself in financial difficulty or unable to meet loan repayments.

- Contact MABS if problem progresses
MABS is the State’s money advice service and has been helping people in Ireland with problem debt for more than thirty years. The service is free, confidential and independent, and supports people who are in debt or at risk of getting into debt.

Who Can MABS Help?
MABS may be able to help if you are finding it difficult to make ends meet because you have:
- Lost your job
- Experienced a separation
- A low income
- Fallen behind on loan repayments
- Suffered a bereavement
- Mortgage, bill or other debt worries
