Who can Join

Membership is open to anyone in our common bond

Anyone living, working, attending school, college, training courses in the common bond area is eligible to become a Member

If a member of your household already holds an account in our Credit Union, this also makes you eligible to become a Member

Common Bond

The common bond is the factor which unites the members of a Credit Union together i.e. those living or working in the same area may join a credit union. It defines the area in which a credit union can operate.

The common bond ensures that the savings of members of the community are available to fellow members as loans. The common bond is essentially people doing it for themselves.

How can I Join

You become a member through the Naomh Breandan Credit Union mobile app or by downloading the application form and bringing it to the office with the following documents.

Valid Passport or Drivers Licence (Where a Drivers Licence is not available for a juvenile, a Birth Certificate is required)

Proof of Address

Recent Utility Bill or Bank Statement dated within last 3 months (A parents current utility bill is required when opening a child's account)

Proof of PPS Number

Proof of PPS Number

(Public services card/social services card, Payslip or P60/P45, Correspondence from Revenue/Department of Social Protection showing PPSN, P21/Tax Assessment/ Notice of Tax credits)
